Since October October 2010 we are organizing regular Mini and Midi tournaments on E-dama.net. These tournaments are open to all players registered on the e-dama.net. In the two years there were 126 Mini and 79 Midi tournament. From the beginning of year 2013 Mini and Midi tournaments will be counted for E-dama Minimidi Cup. The rules of this competition are simple: All the points collected in the Mini and Midi tournaments which started in the calendar year will be added together and the player with most points will win E-dama Minimidi Cup for this year.
Mini and Midi tournaments have been taking place at e-dama.net since October 2010. These tournaments are open to all players registered on the e-dama.net. Since 2013 points are given at Mini and Midi tournaments for e-Dama Minimidi Cup.  


* For the first place in a Mini tournament player wins 5 points
Minimidi Cup contest is taking place in 3 categories: E-Dama Mini Cup, E-Dama Midi Cup i E-Dama Minimidi Cup. For Mini Cup contest results from Mini tournaments are calculated, for Midi Cup results from Mini tournaments are calculated, while for Minimidi Cup results from both Mini and Midi tournaments are calculated.
* For the second place in a Mini tournament player wins 1 point
* For the first place in a Midi tournament player wins 9 points
* For the second place in a Midi tournament player wins 3 points
* For the third place in a Midi tournament player wins 1 point


Tournament winner is the player with the highest score. In the case of equal points, the winner of the tournament will be determined by the Sonneborn-Berger system. In case where multiple players shares the first place, the points are divided equally to all winners
Three best ranked players in each category will get diplomas, while 3 best ranked players in overall annual E-Dama Minimidi Cup will get medals.


Number of points shall be rounded to two decimal places

Rules of this competition are simple. For each calendar year, all points won at Mini and Midi tournaments started in that year are being calculated. Scoring system is as follows:


In the case when two players share first place in the Midi tournament, each of them will win (9+3)/2 = 6 points
For 1st place at Mini tournament player wins 5 points.

In the case when 3 players share the first place in the Mini tournament, each of them will be awarded with (5+1)/3 = 2 points
For 1st place at Midi tournament player wins 9 points.

3 players share second place in the Midi tournament. Each of them will get (3+1)/3 = 1.33 points

The annual winner of the E-dama Minimidi Cup is determined after the completion of the last tournament which has started in the previous year.
Winner of Mini or Midi tournament is player with highest points score. In cese of more players with the same number of points, tournament winner is decided according to Sonneborn-Berger system,

Data processing for E-dama Minimidi Cup is done by Cedomir Igaly
In case when more players at one tournament share place that gives points, points are shared equally to all players that share place. Number of won points is rounded to two decimal points. Here are few examples:

Time for thinking is 120 days for 50 moves plus 50 days to complete the game. In games played on Mini and Midi tournaments it is allowed to use computers for thinking. During the game each player can take a leave in duration of 30 days. This leave can be used in two parts. Every player must start playing all the games on the tournament no later than 10 days after the start of the tournament. In case this is not the case, player will be automatically removed from the tournament and will be replaced by one of the players from the pool of reserve players. If a player does not make a move within 35 days, a warning will be sent to him automatically. If a player does not make a move within 10 days after receiving a warning, he will automatically lose the game. The tournament director may, in exceptional situations (illness, lack of access to the Internet) allow the player administrative leave.

About Minimidi Cup
